Functionality and Limitations
This demonstration copy of QuarkImmedia is fully functional except for the following limitations:
• Projects and documents cannot be saved.
• Up to five project pages may be printed, and the words “QuarkXPress Demo” will print across each page.
• The Open Project and Open URL actions are unavailable.
• If you use the Export command (QuarkImmedia menu), the project’s complexity is limited to: 10 objects, 10 interactive text strings (Hot Text panel in the QuarkImmedia palette), 5 scripts, and 5 pages. If you use the Export command with projects that exceed this complexity, an alert message will state, “This document is too complex for the demo version of QuarkImmedia to allow the export process to continue. There are too many objects, scripts, or pages.”
